The Bachelorette' Season 11 Episode Three Recap

'The Bachelorette' drama continued on Monday night's episode. This 'To Be Continued' episode began with Kupocalypse. It resulted in Kupah accepting that he needed to go home.

Group Date #1:

The guys were woke up really early, after a long night to sumo wrestlers in their room. Afterward, the men were then provided with diapers. The fighting and aggression provoked an intense reaction from Bonzai tree and dog loving Tony.

My favorite part of the date was Shawn B. We have not watched that much of him yet unfortunately. He and Kaitlyn seem to have a strong connection. This relationship seems to stand out, because is growing but not showed often. If she does not choose him, there is no way he will not be 'The Bachelor.'

One-on-one Date:

Ben-Z and Kaitlyn had a terrifying and gross date. However, Ben was a trooper going through snakes and comforting Kaitlyn. The majority of the time on 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' when there is a strong physical attraction, it can lack emotional connection. Ben and Kaitlyn are proving that wrong with their in-depth and emotional conversations.

Group Date #2:

This date was awkward, but people who keep saying that 'The Bachelorette' would have been different if Britt was on the show are wrong. The dates are planned in advance and would have been the same regardless of the lead.

I am not a parent, so I won't judge for children, but it was made clear to the audience that they were actors. Was it the most appropriate date? No--but think about child actors that work on movies such as Insidious and shows such as 'The Whispers.' As an adult, those two concepts terrify me, so I cannot imagine children. There are worse things and better things, but ultimately Ben H stepped it up and secured his spot on this show for a while. Clearly, Ben Squared is a dynamic duo.

Overall, Shawn B and Ben Squared are strong frontrunners. There was a lack of Cupcake this episode, but he still appears to have a solid relationship with Kaitlyn. Those are my four, but tricky Nicky is coming back so we will see how that affects everything.

Coming up next week is a rose ceremony. Hopefully, rose ceremonies will return to the end of the episode.

What are your thoughts on this season? Are you happy with the lead and men?

XO,
Ashley
